Great camera
I'm super happy with the quality of these cameras. I have been running spartan cameras for 7 years now. All 5 of my cell cameras are still running even with them being out almost all year! Between deer, turkey security and scouting the only time these cameras are not out is when I'm moving them. Remember you get what you pay for! Worth every penny!!
Color night photo
Great camera love every feature but, missing one thing that I really like on my Spartan GoCaM is the night color photos it takes. Why doesn’t the Spartan GoLive or the GoLive 2 have color night photos or did I miss something? Would be 5 stars if they did, sorry, not sorry!
Spartan Camera
Hello Sal, Thank you for your review! Our GoLive cameras come with an IR blackout flash, so they don't have a visible flash at night. We were often told that the white flash disturbed wildlife and worked towards a solution to cut down on any potential disturbances our cameras could cause. However, we have gotten a few reviews about bringing the white flash onto our newer cameras. I'll share this feedback with our product team and see if we can work towards a solution in the future. Thank you!
With some tweaking, I love it
We use these cams to monitor remote areas that we plow snow for. If you want to use the live video feed, buy the solar power kit as well. The first (of 3) camera we set up, I put 12 AA batteries in and came back to the shop. When I checked the camera the following morning, the camera used 50% of the batteries already. That wasn't going to work for us at all. We purchased 3 solar power kits with the SLA battery and battery box. It's expensive but saves 6 hours of driving to service all three areas when the cameras need attention.
Great Camera
It’s the best camera out there
