You can now order the Spartan Camera Solar Panel Kit! When you install a solar panel kit, your camera's battery life increases exponentially, cutting down the time and money spent replacing batteries. More than that, the camera can now be left for even more extended periods, and will only rarely need batteries to be swapped out or exchanged. All of these aspects work together to ensure that you are not disturbing nearby wildlife.
Our kit now also includes a 10W solar panel mounting arm to make affixing the solar panel to the tree even easier.

Everything works perfectly. Spartan GoCam 10W Solar Kit
This is my first experience working with the Spartan app and I have a few observations and problems to share. First, I ordered a solar kit with battery box and cord and battery for my new 4g Go Cam. At checkout, I couldn't un-check the box that said "my billing address is the same as my shipping address", which it is not! Tried everything but it would not respond so I went ahead and placed the order. The card I used was the same one I used when I purchased my service plan so it was on file and was auto-filled into the info. My name on the card is Max S. Mason and the billing address is my home address (102 Williamson St. Rockmart, Ga. 30153) but I entered my work address as the shipping address and the confirmation showed the shipping address as the billing address and it showed Steve Mason as the billing name instead of Max S. Mason. Don't know if this is a problem but it usually kicks the order out when the info doesn't match. Guess we will see. Next, I was told that this is strictly a 6volt camera but it looks like the kit I ordered has a 12 volt battery included. I assume that is compensated for by voltage regulating in the solar charging system but it is unclear. Don't want a fried camera. This brings me to my last problem. I had a friend ( Mike Clark) get this camera for me and I don't have a receipt to complete the warranty registration. Didn't know anything about Spartan Cams but another friend has several ( 8 to 10) cameras up and running in Georgia and Oklahoma and recommended them highly so i got it and I've got it set up and ready to go. I'll try to get a receipt or a copy from my friend who actually ordered it and had it shipped to himself. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.
