Designed to assist in solar charging select Spartan Cameras, the corrosion-resistant Spartan Battery Box is made to contain our Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) 12V Battery (sold separately). The battery box has a 5 ft (1.52 m) nature-resistant output cord, voltage regulator, and power surge protection. The LED battery meter and a push-button status display keep you conveniently informed on the internal state of your power source.

I now have this for every camera! The live cameras use way more battery for obvious reasons of course. You stay on it watching deer! I ordered the back up battery and solar panel, problem solved!
