The Directional High Gain antenna is the leading signal solution to achieve an improved 4G/LTE connection. It is designed specifically to be adjusted in the field for you to find the best cell tower signal. Signal reception can be improved from 8dBi to 10dBi by rotating and monitoring the antenna until peak reception is achieved. The white composite housing may be painted (standard non-metallic spray paint) to reduce its visibility in the field.
Includes a 12-foot cable, mounting bracket for round pipes, and a high gain antenna.

Good Service From No Service
Received the Antenna in a timely fashion, set it up on a 10 foot long PVC pipe. Set pole over a T-post, zip tied wire and hooked to cam, rotated the antenna as shown on the signal app and away it went consistently sending pictures in a location where several attempts had been in vain.
High gain antennae
Got an extra couple bars!
Helps
I wanted to write this review so that others have realistic expectations here. I use the camera in a very remote, densely wooded area, in a valley. Using cell antenna mapping, I selected the camera that corresponds to the carrier with the closest tower (~7 to 8 miles away). In comparison, for this area, my two cell phones with two different carriers, show no service, one of them occasionally showing one bar. Once the camera was installed, I had one bar out of 5, with a signal quality of 5-6, on the standard antenna, which considering my cell phones is impressive in itself. Pictures came through in bunches every few days, and streaming was not possible under any circumstances. I did install this antenna and it is about 5 feet above the camera, and about 10 feet off the ground. It improved the signal from one bar to two bars and took the signal quality from 5 to the 13-15 range. Not a dramatic improvement, but an improvement. Pictures come through regularly/instantly now, status reports come every night as scheduled, and I can stream about 50% of the time, but it is consistently choppy streaming, meaning, I get about 3 seconds of live stream, it pauses for 5-10 seconds, and I get another 3 seconds, etc. So, if your signal is terrible, it will remain terrible, but this will make it less terrible. Just want to be realistic with those looking at this product.
